There are many different methods to treat soft tissue restrictions, ischemic and mechanical pain, and impaired circulation. This treatment is a customized multimodality approach that may include myofasical release, assisted stretching, lymph drainage, active and positional release techniques, trigger point release, IASTM, myofacial decompression (therapeutic cupping), deep tissue massage devices, and whole body vibration platforms. Other therapeautic modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation and red/Infrared light can be added as needed. This is a great way to experient with a variety of tools and techniques to determine which may be of greatest benefit for a home program. I am not trained in dry needling at this time, but plan to take an introductory level course in the Spring of 2022.
